So I shared with Alli today this brilliant idea I had; that is that to send an email out to all our family and friends reminding them that my birthday will quickly be upon us and point out there was still plenty of time for them to express their love with a parceled or hand delivered gift. Alli didn’t really like that idea, in fact she though it was horrible – I don’t know, I still think it is a pretty good idea but needless to say, that email will not be going out.
Following our conversation, and while I was still contemplating the genius of my idea be it ever so slightly rained upon by my wife, it occurred to me that I should share this tail on my blog. Now considering that my blog readership doesn’t really exist, yet, (I prefer to think of it as early-stage, grassroots, developing, cult groundswell), I thought that I it would be safe to post this tail here without the risk of divorce and I hope you have enjoyed it.
By the way there is still time to parcel me your thoughtful birthday gift and while the idea of sending a check or cash are often frowned upon by others I tend to think that either make a very lovely expression.
