Gail’s Class Play

Every class at Peninsula puts on a play, every year. It’s one of those Peninsula things. Natalie’s class, Gail’s performed theirs last week. In this class the students collaboratively conceive of every aspect of the play, and they spend many weeks doing so. The result this year was a brilliantly complex play entitled “Never Mind”. It had spys, it had highway robbers (named Pencil and Eraser), it had a wide variety of animals, including a sloth, a hampster who ran a beauty salon, some dogs, a hedgehog, a turtle and a koala. It had a phantom donut, named Dot Com. It had Green Bay Packers fans. It had a waffle named Waffie (yes, that was Natalie). With this menagerie they managed to weave a heartwarming story, over several acts, culminating with a energetic “prom scene”. Bravo!
